The Bosbury Lockdown Memory Book!

A huge well done and thank you to all of those children who entered one or more of our Bosbury lockdown photo competitions which have taken place on the school's Twitter page over the last few weeks. We have seen stylish self-portraits, reading in some highly peculiar places, funny vegetable faces and some delicious-looking homebaking!

Over the next fortnight we are running not a competition but a chance for our pupils to send us something which sums up or reflects upon their experience of lockdown during such an unusual past three months. We will then use these pieces to compile a Big Bosbury Lockdown Memory Book (™) which could be viewed by generations of children over the years to come to enable them to gain some understanding of what it was like to live through such a strange and unique time.

You could write an account or a poem, draw or pain a picture, take a series of photos... anything you like as long as it can be viewed in a book and is of a clear picture quality. Please email your pieces to the usual address of head@bosbury.hereford.sch.uk, and could we ask that we receive all work intended for the book by Thursday 16th July at the latest. Thank you, have fun, and we can't wait to see how the Bosbury children of 2020 reflect upon their experiences during such a strange time for us all.

Oh, and we can't end without revealing the winner of last week's funny vegetable face competition! Well done Winnie from Class 2 - we think that this very-friendly looking vegeperson looks like they could chat, be your friend and perhaps even have a dance... although we recommend that they look into having a bit of a trim when the barbers, hairdressers and salons reopen tomorrow!
